Gayesha Speaks about 'Flying Fish' movie
Popular Teledrama and Sinhala Film actress Gayesha perera has accepted that she was fully bare in her latest movie ' Iggillena Malu' ( Flying Fish) for the Sirasa TV channel.
Gayesha Perera later became annoyed and depressed when that Sirasa TV interview was broadcast over the media. A former miss Sri Lanka Gayesha Perera says I acted in that movie because of my fans and fro my motherland.
The Flying Fish movie is based on the Sri Lankan civil war. Flying Fish is the latest Sri Lankan film directed and produced by Sanjeewa Pushpakumara. This film hit and recognized in the International film arena. The film revolves on 'Wasana' portrayed by this agtress and 'Soldier' portrayed by Sampath jayaweera.Gayesha was ble to show tremendous maturity in her character.Gayesha is not only a Beauty Queen and a popular Tele drama actress but also possesses Multi faceted talents in the likes of a sought after TV presenter, a film actress, a talented dancer and for appearing in visuals of very famous songs of popular singers. Some of the music videos which she had appeared in are in the songs of the popular songs of famous singers such as:- Amila Perera (Adare Ma Niwalai) , Nirosha Virajini (Igilenna Thahanam Nam) ,Uresha Ravihari (Pini Muthu Sulange), Sahan - Hasthi (Kinnari).
It is pertinent to mention that in the year 2010 she portrayed roles in two fabulous films. Initially she acted in Russian film Ramas Bridge directed by Alexandra Wolkoff. The other film was Flying Fish directed by Sanjeewa Pushpakumara. Both Films were award winning films jn which Gayesha portrayed the main roles in both films. .However when Sarasaviya news paper contacted gayesha over the phone in order to write an article about the said movie, but gayesha had disconected the conversation with the newspaper by saying ' bye' befor the the other end keeps the phone.
